Most teens have ideas. Very few are ever shown what to do with one.

Your teen might already be the one who flips sneakers, edits videos for friends, or keeps saying "someone should make an app for that." Or maybe they're quieter, and you can see the potential even when they can't.

School rarely teaches what turns an idea into something real: spotting a problem, testing an idea, pricing an offer, and having the nerve to ask someone to buy.

That's what this masterclass is for. Not a lecture about business. Four weeks of actually building one, with a coach in their corner.

The 4B Entrepreneur Framework™

One step each week. By week four, your teen has a named business, a priced offer, a pitch they've practiced, and a 30-day plan.

Week 1
Believe

Think like an entrepreneur

It starts with mindset. Your teen discovers what kind of entrepreneur they already are and learns that confidence grows from taking action, not waiting for it.

Spotlight: Sara Blakely

  • Discover your Entrepreneur DNA
  • Entrepreneur Mindset Scorecard
  • The $100 Business Challenge
  • Real-world challenge for the week
Week 2
Brainstorm

Discover your big idea

Great businesses solve problems. Your teen learns to spot them everywhere, generates ten ideas, and scores them honestly to pick the one worth building.

Spotlight: Walt Disney

  • The Problem Finder
  • The 10-Idea Brainstorm
  • The Business Idea Scorecard
  • Choose your big idea
Week 3
Build

Turn your idea into a business

The idea gets a name, a brand, and an offer. Then the real math: revenue, costs, and profit, all on one page.

Spotlight: Daymond John

  • Name and brand your business
  • Create your offer
  • The Business Profit Calculator
  • Your One-Page Business Blueprint
Week 4
Begin

Take your first step

From dreamer to doer. Your teen learns the difference between marketing and selling, practices a pitch out loud, and maps the next 30 days.

Spotlight: Mark Cuban

  • Marketing vs. selling
  • Pitch formula and practice rounds
  • First five customers and a $100 revenue goal
  • 30-day action plan and certificate

The coaching doesn't end after week 4

Every teen who enrolls in this cohort gets 4 bonus weeks inside Inner Circle, right when they need it most.

Weeks 1–4Teen Entrepreneur Masterclass
Weeks 5–8Bonus Inner Circle coaching
8 weeksof coaching, practice, and personal development
$250 value, included free

The masterclass ends with a 30-day action plan. Inner Circle makes sure your teen doesn't do those 30 days alone.

Inner Circle is Coach Matt's ongoing teen leadership and personal development coaching. Instead of finishing week 4 and trying to keep the momentum going on their own, your teen gets four more weeks of coaching, conversation, accountability, and encouragement, with a coach and peers alongside them.

The masterclass teaches them how to build. Inner Circle helps them keep showing up as the kind of person who follows through.

Try a Week 3 tool yourself

This is the same profit math your teen works through in the workbook. Change the numbers and watch what happens. It's usually the moment a teen realizes their idea could really pay.

Business Profit Calculator

Example: a teen lawn-care business

Profit per job$24
Profit per week$96
Profit over a 12-week summer$1,152

Take a look inside

Every student gets the -page Official Student Workbook. It's where their idea turns into a plan, one worksheet at a time.

  • Scorecards and self-assessments
  • Entrepreneur spotlights and teaching boxes
  • Business planning templates and the profit calculator
  • Weekly reflections and real-world challenges
  • A signed certificate of completion

    How confidence gets built

    1. Struggle: held back a grade and voted "Most Shy"
    2. A voice that believed: Zig Ziglar's message at 16
    3. Practice: years of reps, one hard step at a time
    4. Confidence in action: leading, building, and coaching others

    Meet Coach Matt

Confidence wasn't something I was born with. It was something I had to build.

I was held back in school, struggled academically, and spent years believing other people were more capable than I was. Then, at 16, Zig Ziglar's message changed the way I saw myself.

Since then I've had the chance to lead organizations, pastor families, build businesses, write five books, speak to audiences across the country, and coach more than 500 teens.

Here's what building businesses has taught me: the idea is rarely the hard part. The hard part is believing you're allowed to try, then actually taking the first step. That's why this masterclass starts with Believe and ends with Begin.

I'm also a homeschool dad of three boys, so I know what you want for your kids: real skills, real confidence, and values that line up with how your family lives.

    Parent questions

My teen doesn't have a business idea yet. Is that okay?

Completely. Week 2 is built for exactly this. Your teen will brainstorm ten ideas from real problems they notice, then score them to choose the best one.

My teen is shy. Will this be too much?

Coach Matt was voted "Most Shy" himself. Sessions are small and encouraging, and every challenge is sized so a nervous teen can still take the step.

Do we need to spend money to start a business?

No. The program focuses on ideas teens can start with little or nothing, and the $100 Business Challenge shows how far a small amount can go.

    Is financing available?

Yes. You can pay in full, or choose financing at checkout with options up to 12 months, as low as $38.41/mo (subject to approval). Step Up families can attend with $0 out of pocket.

Can we use Step Up For Students?

Yes. Matt's youth development initiative, Youth Summit, is an approved Step Up direct-pay vendor, so eligible families can attend with $0 out of pocket. Check out on Step Up under the provider name Youth Summit, or book a call and we'll walk you through it.

What if we miss a session?

Life happens. Sessions are recorded, and the workbook is built so your teen can keep moving forward even if a week gets missed.

Does my teen need their camera on?

Yes. Pitching an idea and talking it through out loud is a big part of the program, and that works best when everyone is present on camera.

Do I need to be on the calls?

No, the live sessions are just for the teens. You'll see their progress in the workbook, and the weekly real-world challenges are a great chance to cheer them on.

What happens after the 4 weeks?

Your teen moves straight into 4 bonus weeks of Inner Circle, Coach Matt's teen leadership and personal development coaching. It's included free with this cohort. After the bonus weeks, families who want to continue in Inner Circle can choose to continue separately.

    What does my teen need?

A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and Zoom, plus the workbook (fill it in digitally or print it). That's it.

Their first business starts with one step.

Only spots in this cohort so every teen gets real coaching time. Starts . Enrollment closes .
